new ideas for old buildings

+ we've moved to Plaatsteeg 20, a former firehose tower! + we are making changes to our webite + new projects will be shown shortly +

ATELIER jelle verheijen (2007) is an office for architecture with a passion for old buildings. This could be a former school in Groede, an old gasfactory building in Leiden, a fire hose tower built on the remains of a church, the make-over of a boat or the refurbishment of residential houses. In all our projects we look for an unique approach and solution.

In 2017 we'll move our office from our current location Oude Rijn 91 (a listed building built in 1650) and go to the old center of Leiden (Plaatsteeg 20). Our new office is also an old building that will be transformed with a modern extension added on to it. A green building with an informal semi-public garden.
